From: Reykjavik Now A series of portraits in Reykjavik, Iceland I shot during the month of January, on the modern scene of music, fashion and art.  As Iceland is a small but very present circle in the current world of culture, if you are not legit then you are written off quickly as I was at-least told.  I spent two weeks in the city going to people’s studios, homes and lofts as well as raw Iceland environments to photograph and hang out with them.   Above:  Pascal Pinon, are the twins Jófríður and Ásthildur whom started playing music together when they were 14.  Now in their early 20’s they released their second album in 2012.  Ear sample here.

    • Luke “The Squid” Mitrani_Crowley Lake, CA_May 012’ The squid lives his life day by day, with no stress of the real world, laughing all the way through.  From the mentality from skateboarding: live free, without a a care, and a fuck it attitude.  He remains one of the best snowboarders in the world, only 22, and is on a track to gold.  Although this mentality, and type of person are soon to be considered “past time” as there are less and less of his type.  And more and more of a digitally connected, self-obsessed type of shredder.
