    A series of portraits in Reykjavik, Iceland I shot during the month of January, on the modern scene of music, fashion and art.  As Iceland is a small but very present circle in the current world of culture, if you are not legit then you are written off quickly as I was at-least told.  I spent two weeks in the city going to people’s studios, homes and lofts as well as raw Iceland environments to photograph and hang out with them.  

    Above:  Sólstafir, Iceland’s most famous metal band, shot out in the arctic tundra a few minutes outside of the city.

    Above:  The Vintage Caravan.  Similar to Metallica  they have been playing together since they were 12 and fucking killing it.  18 and on tour in Europe this summer- future is bright.  Ear test here.

    Above:  Gabríela Friðriksdóttir is an artist and sculptor. Outside of her contributions in the art world, she is known for her collaboration with the Icelandic musician and superstar Björk.  Her work is phenomenal and she is a modern day badass.
